So many of us have poured our time, energy and heart into mission-driven work over the course of our lives. We are likely doing it today. And we will continue to do it going forward.
As the Creator of the Hype Women Movement, I feel it is my responsibility with our Hype Women for Harris effort, to challenge the notion that we should pay a passion tax whenever we do work we care about; that we should not be compensated when we are investing our human, social and financial capital in a cause and driving money, awareness and care towards it.
So, I am very intentionally working to secure funding to pay the people who are investing themselves in this work, and pay for the hard costs necessary to take any of this from idea to action.
